Summer 2011

We have been very busy hosting some very successful and enjoyable team building days and team weekend training camps with teams such as:

- Carrickedmond Ladies footballers
- Boyle Intermediate Footballers
- Roscommon development Squad
- Ballinalee senior footballers
- Meath ladies footballers
- Wexford Camogie team
- Corrofin senior footballers
- Dromard Ladies footballers

Check out our Facebook page for pics and feedback from some of these teams. All Classes start back in September with morning classes daily and evening classes on Tuesday and Thursday. Classes will include Abs Attack, Tone Zone, Cruel cardio, Mixed circuit and Outdoor body blitz.

May 2010

This month started with a bang as the Carlow Senior Hurlers perpared for their approaching All Ireland Championship and Christy Ring Cup games by holding an intense training weekend here at ASPIE. The players and management got thrpugh a lot of hard work in this time.

The Rochfortbridge Ladies Football team enjoyed a team building day at ASPIRE and we all hope that they can benefit from this in this year's championship.

The Lorrha Srnior Hurlers from Tipp had a one night training and team building weekend where they got through a training session on the pitch and early morning core session as well as getting stuck into our team challenges on both days.

April 2010

With Championship season only around the corner a number of different teams visited us this month. The Four Masters senior footballers from Donegal attended a 2 night training and team building camp in which they got through 4 separate training sessions as well as a full program of team building activities. A great weekend as had by all and we wish the team and management every success this year.

Throughout April we were also happy to see Dunshaughlin senior footballers from Meath and Crusheen senior hurlers from Clara take on team building days here at ASPIRE and again we wish both teams all the best for the rest of the season. A number of local schools also brought their students here to reward them for a year's hard work as all the students took on our activities, with the obstacle course providing to be a particular favourite.

March 2010

This month the Castleknock junior footballers afrom Dublin and The Downs senior footballers from Westmeath both visited ASPIRE for team building days ahead of their respective Championship campaigns. This month also saw the NSA Business Group spend a weekend here in which they got a lot of work done but managed to find time to avail of some of the special team building challenges we have for our corporate groups.

March also saw the return of the Easter Hills Security Academy again for another successful two weeks and we hope to continue to develop our partnership with them.

February 2010

ASPIE is delighted to announce it will be linking up with the Offaly Senior Hurlers for the upcoming league and championship campaign. Joe from ASPIRE put the players through their paces as physical trainer and the team will also be making use of ASPIRE's state of the art gym for their strength and conditioning sessions.

ASPIRE has also been busy designing and implementing winter strength and conditioning sessions with a number of local club teams both here and in the gym and in some club's own facilities including Erin Rovers, Moate All Whites and Tubber senior football teams.

September 2009

September turned out to be a very busy month here at ASPIRE with a large number of different teams attending both training and team building camps. The O'Loughlin Gaels senior hurling panel spent a successful day here preparing for their upcoming Kilkenny Championship games. Both Mounmellick Sarsfields Ladies footbal team and the Killimer senior hurlers also spent a day tackling the team building activities here at ASPIRE and we wish them both every success

A huge congratulations is due to the Kildalkey senior hurlers however, on winning their first Meath Senior Hurling Championship in 57 years. The team prepared for the final by spending a day at ASPIRE the weekend before and we were delighted to see they were rewarded for their year's hard work.

Also this month we had the first Easter Hills International Security Academy course. Participants of the course are put through their paces by a team of experts in which they learn all the skills required in close protection and top level security and ASPIRE is happy to team up with Easter Hills Security and let them use our accommodation and surrounding facilities for their courses.

August 2009

Just recently on the 20th & 21st of August we had the St Vincents Senior hurlers from Dublin who are getting ready for their championship clash and took part in our team building events during the two days and also had a training session on our pitch. They all got stuck in and had a great time.


From the 21st to 23rd Leinster rugby youths team continued their preparations for the inter-pro's with a team weekend which included team training, meetings, pool recovery and team building before departing for a practice match. All the staff at Aspire wish players and management success in this years competition.


Over this summer we have had numerous top teams from all parts of the country enjoy visits to us at ASPIRE. May saw weekend camps held by the Westmeath Senior footballers as well as the Ardagh senior footballers from Longford.


June 2009

June saw team building days and training weekends from teams such as Drumcullen Camogie team, Padraig pearses senior footballers from Roscommon as well as Newbridge sarsfields footballers from kildare. The Fermanagh ladies also had a fun filled day in preparation for championship. Towards the end of the month saw Westmeath Minor hurlers, Cretyard and Offaly Ladies footballers pass through Aspire.

July 2009

July saw the Senior Hurlers of Claughbawn in Wexford enjoy a combination of training, team building and a team night out to complete their weekends work, as well as Rockwell senior footballers from Tipp as well as this St. James from Galway enjoyed an action packed day with us. Also Stephen Darbys Carbury Senior footballers from Kildare worked hard over a weekend.

Summer News

Here at Aspire we have teamed up with Lenister Rugby to offer a senior school of excellence summer camp for boy's ages between 15 and 17. The camp aims to improve rugby skills and to advise players on all aspects of correct physical conditioning. Also the camp will be very enjoyable will advantage and team building activities as well as pool sessions every day. Mid April

Aspire was privileged to accommodate the Kildare senior hurlers for a weekends training and team building where they made full use of Aspire extensive facilities. Aspire would like to wish them the best of luck in their league and championship campaign this year.

8th April

West Meath minor footballers finish off their preparation for their championship with some work on their communication and team work during or team building activities.

15th March

Carlow senior hurlers also take on the challenge of Aspire's team building day. Also during his month Tyrell's pass senior footballers from West Meath had a great day with our team building activities all of which can be viewed on or gallery.

14th March

We welcomed Nenagh burgess senior hurlers from Tipperary. Who enjoyed a day mixed with training and team building. It was thoroughly enjoyable and there was a lot of positive to take away from the day.

25th February

Mens and womens circuit classes continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Aspire for anyone looking to get fit, look and feel better. All levels of fitness are catered for and circuits are tailored so that everyone is ensured a great workout suitable to their individual capabilities. Class times are as follows:

28th January

Congratulations to Aspire trained Athlone I.T. for their impressive 7 point sigerson cup victory over Tralee I.T. in Tralee.

23rd January

Aspire was delighted to welcome reigning National League and Munster hurling champions Tipperary for a tough training weekend. From the minute the team arrived on Friday the whole panel worked hard as the staff at Aspire pushed them through rigorous pitch and gym sessions. With the hard work done the team also enjoyed some team building exercises on Saturday afternoon before leaving what was overall a very successful training weekend. Aspire would like to thank the Tipperary players and staff for their application to the weekend and wish them the very best in their pursuit of Liam McCarthy this year. 18th October

Congratulations to the Toomevara senior hurlers who impressively progressed through the Tipperary Championship and won the final in Thurles. Aspire is very proud of their work ethic and determination to win which was shown when they underwent a training camp earlier in the year at Aspire. Joe has been working on the Physical conditioning of the team over the past number of months. We want to wish them all the best and we have full belief that they can go onto win Munster and the All Ireland Club Championship.

23rd September

14th September

Four Roads hurling club were the latest team to attend Aspire for a team building day. Despite the constant rain and terrible weather conditions the panel participated in a full program of activities and Aspire wishes them well with the rest of the season.

13th September

Longford Slashers under 14 panel visited Aspire for a team building day today. The energetic group enjoyed a full day of activities in which they developed their communication and team work skills. The day was a very enjoyable one for both managers and players alike.

11th September

A hectic day at Aspire saw up to 80 Sports and Recreation Studies students from Athlone IT participate in a team building day. The students took part in a number of different games and activities in order to get to know their new classmates a little bit better and a great day was had by all. Pictures of the day are available in the gallery page and Aspire wishes all the students well with their academic studies in the forthcoming 3 years.

30th - 31st August

Roscrea senior hurlers from Tipperary stepped up their preparation for the forthcoming championship by attending a two day training and bonding camp at Aspire. The squad were put through their paces by Aspire's experts with pitch fitness and hurling training, a gym session, a number of different team building activities, a motivational talk from sports psychologist and Armagh senior footballer Enda McNulty and even a team night out contributed to a very successful and productive weekend and Aspire wishes Roscrea the best of luck in their bid to win the Tipperary Senior Championship.

22nd - 26th August

Leinster Schools and Youths Attend Aspire. Both the Leinster Schools and Youth squads stayed at Aspire over the course of the weekend with both conducting successful training camps. The squads also participated in some team building activities and Aspire wishes both teams and management every success in the coming year.

4th August

The Rathcline minor footballers from Longford were the latest team to complete a team building day at Aspire. The panel were put through a full program of activities challenging the team both physically and mentally. Pictures of the day can be found on the gallery page.

2nd August

The Tipperary minor hurling panel attended Aspire for a full day of team building activities today in preparation for their All-Ireland semi final against Kilkenny on Sunday 10th August. A great day was had by all as the panels teamwork and communication skills were tested and everyone at Aspire wishes the team and management the best of luck in their quest to win the All-Ireland. 19th & 20th July

Toomevara's senior hurling squad enjoyed a successful training camp this weekend and got through a number of different activities in a short space of time. With a combination of hurling, gym and speed sessions complimented by team building activities and a night at the dogs a good mixture of work and craic was had. 15th July

Congratulations and best of luck to the Offaly Minor Football Team in the Leinster Final. They deserve success after putting in a huge effort in the sessions with Aspire throughout the year. Best wishes from all at Aspire.
